My Experience

I studied animal science at The University of Connecticut with a focus in the dairy industry so I had the opportunity to work in the milking parlor and heifer barns, and travel to dairy barns in New England and the South about how specific barns run their operation, while also educating the public about the dairy industry at the Big E. But while at Uconn I had opportunities to take classes focusing on companion animals while working in the dairy barns and caring for sick, and injured and helping with the breeding and births of heifers.

But recently after the pandemic, I was able to build my clientele very fast and start my pet care business here in Hartford County. I teach positive reinforcement techniques which I learned a lot about while in certain classes at Uconn.

About Me

When I was both in college and high school, I had the opportunity in helping train and walk a very special dog. Bridger, an English Cocker Spaniel who I had a deep special connection with. Many of my clients call me the “dog whisperer” as I am able to connect to many dogs and they listen to me almost immediately. I remember this one special moment with Bridger, I was walking up the driveway and I heard him barking in the house as he hears my footsteps and he ran up the stairs waiting for me in the mudroom so excited to walk with me. We would walk on nature trails for hours and he’s the one that taught me how to train animals with off leash commands and recall.

Because of my work with Bridger I primarily work with working, service and hunting dogs. So I can teach them all the skills they need in the working field to benefit either their owner, hunting games or job. But I also work with household pets.

And currently I am learning lots about raw/natural dog diets!

To help each dog reach their full potential by identifying individual needs, using positive reinforcement, balanced training methods, and establishing a level of understanding between owner and K9.

I treat your four-legged family members just like my own to give you the peace of mind that they are very well-taken care of in our care! Her natural ability to understand and connect with dogs allows her to break through problems like reactivity and disobedience. Your pet will have one on one care with me since I am a solo pet care provider, so we can build connections and become best friends!
